Hey! I'm Allie. I'm married to my best friend Drake, and have two beautiful daughters and a sweet baby boy. Ever since I had my first daughter, I have found a deep-seated love of birth and the postpartum phase of motherhood. When I had my second daughter I decided I couldn't sit in my love for birth anymore and needed to find a way to share it. Thus, Radical Birth was born! My only goal with Radical Birth is to empower, enlighten, and encourage women in their journey to motherhood and well beyond. I aim to support, educate, and ease the transition from maiden to mother, from one child to two, two to three, etc., and reveal in you the power that already resides. I long to be the person you come to with all of your birthy questions and excitement surrounding motherhood! I'm not going to gate keep the fact that you can enjoy giving birth... you might even look forward to it!

I have experience in breastfeeding, sleep patterns and progressions, teething, parent preference, getting baby into a routine, delegation when mama (Or daddy!) needs rest, sibling introduction, pumping, bottle introduction, basic newborn care and basic postpartum care, swaddling, soothing techniques, and everything in between!
*Please note: I am not a certified lactation consultant and can only give advice based on my own research and experience*
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Pre-Medicine and plan on pursuing midwifery once my babies are a little bit older! I am excited to be a doula and be immersed in birth in that way until I am able to begin my midwifery training. I hope when you meet me, you feel my joy and excitement surrounding birth and that it can encourage you to reimagine what your birth could look like. It could be different than whatever is considered "normal". It could be spectacular and enjoyable. It could be spiritual. It could be enlightening. It could be Radical.
